School-Based Diversified Curriculum

At LTPSS, our curriculum is designed to prepare students for a rapidly changing world. Aligned with our S-T-A-R qualities, our learning framework integrates knowledge, practical skills, positive values, and attitudes across all subjects to foster self-directed, lifelong learners.

Junior Secondary (S1–S3): Foundation & Discovery

Junior students follow a broad academic curriculum enhanced by specialized, timetabled programmes:

• Featured Electives: Dedicated courses in Performing Arts, Innovation Technology, Spanish, and Japanese allow students to explore new talents and global perspectives.
• STEAM & Self-Directed Learning: Interdisciplinary STEAM projects are integrated into the curriculum to develop practical problem-solving skills, while self-directed projects encourage independent study habits.

Senior Secondary (S4–S6): HKDSE & Tailored Pathways

Senior students prepare for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) with flexible options aligned with their post-secondary goals:

• Core & Elective Structure: Alongside the 4 core subjects (Chinese, English, Mathematics, and Citizenship & Social Development), students select 2 to 3 electives from 15 subjects, Applied Learning courses, or Other Languages.
• Tailored Enrichment: Ongoing initiatives are provided for students taking 2 electives, offering specialized learning in Creative Technologies (including AI), Art & Creativity, Performing Arts, IELTS preparation, and Japanese Culture & Communication.

English-Rich Learning Environment

English is the Medium of Instruction for almost all subjects. Our team of local teachers and Native English-Speaking Teachers maintains an immersive language environment. Language and literacy are further reinforced through innovative Reading across the Curriculum initiatives and our modern school library.
