On Saturday, 16 May 2026, our Story Pilot team embarked on an excursion to reBooked, an English secondhand bookstore and social enterprise in Central, to hold their first community storytelling activity. This event provided a wonderful opportunity for the students to showcase their learning outcomes after a year of training.
Story Pilots is an extracurricular activity designed to develop students’ English speaking skills through picture books. This school year, the team took their learning further by creating original stories and using AI technology to generate the illustrations for their books. During the session, they shared their original tales, “Toys Kingdom” and “The Mid-night Chase”, with the community and explained their AI illustration process.
The dedicated Story Pilots included:
- S1: Fan Ting Hang
- S2: Cheung Man Yat, Ko Kwan Ting, Cheung Shing Him Terrell
The team was greatly encouraged by the warm support of our Vice Principal Ms Lam and several parents who attended. It is hoped that the Story Pilots will continue to reach out into the community, connecting with different people through the power of picture books and storytelling.
