Nine of our S3 students had the privilege to visit the Hong Kong Aviation Academy and the restricted areas of the Hong Kong International Airport on Lantau Island on 22nd January 2020, thanks to the invitation of Career and Life Adventure Planning (CLAP) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
On that day, we were introduced to the aviation industry and career prospects in the Hong Kong International Airport, e.g. air cargo, catering, security, engineering, customer services. Our students also took a guided tour of the passenger terminal and airside, including restricted areas such as the ramp!
From their reflective journals, we believed that our students found the visit a truly memorable and insightful one! The organiser was also pleased with our students’ meticulous work and their seriousness throughout the whole journey. In addition to their journals, they will also deliver a presentation later in March to all those who have not had the chance to visit the academy and the airside this time.
