S1 Fun Day was a new initiative modified from S1 Barbecue traditionally implemented for years. This year, S1 students, teachers and S3-S4 mentors from Buddy Scheme took an afternoon off from regular lessons to enjoy some outdoorsy culinary delights and immense themselves in a less structured learning environment in Tuen Mun. The event gave students and teachers a chance to get to know each other better in a more relaxing atmosphere. Besides helping each other in grilling delicious foods, our student social workers, Toni and Louise, trained the mentors to play games that boosted harmony and teamwork with the S1 students. Our Principal, Miss Tam, also joined and had some nice chats and photo shots with us. It was an enjoyable experience for everyone.
