A talk on overseas studies was held on 8 August 2022 and our S5 students were given an introduction and overview of the UK, USA, Canadian, and Australian university application process. Students learned about the essential items they must prepare for their application, such as taking the IELTS exam and how their academic results are interpreted across different application systems. Thorough research, early preparation, choosing an appropriate academic pathway, as well as considering factors such as academic, social, environmental, and financial fit were stressed as being vital for a successful application process.
