Hispanic Culture Festival (formerly Spanish speech and culture festival) is a non-profit interscholastic organization, which aims to celebrate the richness and diversity of the Hispanic societies through different artistic expressions, in order to expose and promote Hispanic culture and Spanish language in Hong Kong.
Law Ting Pong has been involved in this festival since its very beginning back in 2013, and this year hasn’t been an exception. Unfortunately this edition has been held virtually due to the pandemic; but that inconvenience hasn’t discouraged our students!
We are proud and grateful to share with you that Caius CHEUNG Lo Hong has received the “Best documentary film” award for his work La fauna de Hong Kong. Caius is passionate about animal life and therefore, this has been an excellent chance for him to improve his Spanish language skills by doing what he loves. In addition, not only has he written the script and edited the video, but also he has shot every single animal pictured in his documentary. You may check his work by clicking this LINK.
Lastly, our student Savio SHI Chit Hei has been showcased inside “Commended works” for his videoclip Mi Ordenador (My computer). You may check his piece by clicking HERE.
We all hope that we can enjoy a regular on-site celebration of the Hispanic Festival next year 2023!
