羅定邦中學中文組於2023年1月20日舉行新春文化日。當日提供不少攤位予同學參與，包括踢毽、蹴鞠、投壼、毛筆書法、剪紙、摺紙、扇畫、紙舞龍、造紙術及皮影戲，家校會亦主持吉祥手繩攤位。另外安排了國樂表演、文化問答比賽及大眾同樂文化等活動，旨在使同學體驗傳統文化之餘，亦能愉快學習。當日同學全情投入，笑容滿面。郭校長更主持毛筆書法攤位，親授學生寫毛筆之技法，學生獲益良多。

The Chinese Department of LTPSS held the Chinese Culture Day on 20 January, 2023. Booths were provided for students to take part in various activities and workshops e.g. Shuttlecock Kicking, Cuju Ancient Chinese Football Game, Pitch-pot Game, Chinese Calligraphy, Paper-cutting, Origami, Paper Fan Painting, Paper Dragon Puppets, Papermaking, Shadow Puppets and Lucky Hand Strap DIY. In addition, a performance of Chinese Instruments, Chinese Quiz Competitions and traditional Chinese carnivals were also on offer for students.
The purpose of Chinese Culture Day was to allow students to experience traditional Chinese culture and be happy to learn. Students were able to put their heart and soul in the activities. Furthermore, Principal Kwok took charge in the Chinese Calligraphy booth where he taught students how to write. We truly believe that students had learnt a lot from this experience!
