What a week of fun events! For library visits we watched an interview and had a discussion about a different author for each grade. On Tuesday, October 23 we had our Book Bento Box showcase where students created cute and healthy bento boxes. We also had our Book Fair on Tuesday and Wednesday where students could purchase books in English and Chinese. On Thursday, October 25 we had a fun time testing our knowledge with our literary trivia quiz. Students and teachers competed against each other for house points and literary prizes. Finally, on Friday we had a fun day of costumes where we had a chance to dress as a group, our favorite character, or showoff our cosplay skills. Throughout the week during recess and lunch in the library we also had Get Caught Reading, an activity where students were offered prizes for reading Chinese or English during their free time in the library. Even ICT got involved in the Book Week fun by creating gifs that promote reading. Overall, it was a fun week to explore many different ways to enjoy reading. Thanks to all that helped and I hope that everyone had as much fun as I did for Book Week.
