On 24 February, Mr. Bryan To and I were very grateful to receive the Outstanding Team Award at the CYC Annual Parade. It is the first time for our school to attain the award and our continuous effort has been recognised!
Indeed, I have been a CYC member for many years and have participated in a lot of CYC activities, such as community services and book-selling campaigns. Through these activities, I have learnt to be more meticulous in organising different activities, with the help of my fellows. I treasure every opportunity for helping others and am keen on promoting different service-learning programmes to our schoolmates.
Also, I learnt the importance of caring for our neighborhood and society. There are a lot of people in need, such as the elderly, in our community. When I visited the elderly centre in Tai Po a few weeks ago, I realised that the elderly love exchanging ideas with young people. They said they enjoyed the chats with us! A small act can change a lot to their life! This makes me more satisfied and motivated to do services in the future.
I would like to dedicate the award to all of you! Thank you for all of your support!
