Our Story Pilots program has a primary objective of nurturing students’ love for reading and cultivating a passion for literature among younger students. Our dedicated Story Pilots have invested their time and effort into refining their storytelling skills, ensuring they can effectively engage and entertain their audience through lively and interactive narratives.
This year, our group of Story Pilots had the honour of being invited to conduct two storytelling sessions at primary schools. The first visit took place at Ta Ku Ling Ling Ying Public School on 15th March, followed by the second visit to Tai Po Old Market Public School on 16th April.
During the first visit, we were thrilled to see a tremendous turnout of over 70 students, ranging from Primary 4 to 6. Our storytellers skillfully kept the students engaged and excited through interactive and enthusiastic storytelling. In the subsequent month, our students’ hard work once again paid off during a reading session with a group of 32 Primary 2 students from Tai Po Old Market Public School. The event was a resounding success, with both students and teachers thoroughly enjoying a delightful selection of storybooks, creating an atmosphere of enjoyment and learning.
