Admission Scholarships
Scholarship Items | Eligibility | Arrangements for Scholarship |
1. Admission scholarships for students who have achieved excellence in either academic or multiple-intelligence performance in the year before they are admitted to LTPSS. | Scholarship for Excellence in Academic Performance:
The student: – was ranked Top 5% in the Year Level; and – has attained overall A or above in Chinese, English and Mathematics, and – has attained A or above in Conduct. |
Each will be awarded a one-off scholarship which is equivalent to 100% of the school fee for the first year the student studies at LTPSS. |
Scholarship for Excellence in Academic Performance:
The student: – was ranked Top 6-10% in the Year Level; and – has attained overall B+ or above in Chinese, English and Mathematics, and – has attained B+ or above in Conduct. |
Each will be awarded a one-off scholarship which is equivalent to 50% of the school fee for the first year the student studies at LTPSS. The scholarship will be awarded on Speech Day in the subsequent year. | |
Scholarship for multiple-intelligence Performance:
The student: – has won remarkable awards (e.g. overall champion) in regional or international competitions; and – has obtained prizes for the awards; and – proves that he/she is the key member if it is a group award; and – has attained B or above in CHI, English and Mathematics; and – has attained B or above in Conduct. |
A scholarship which is equivalent to 50% or 100% of the school fees for the first year will be awarded on Speech Day held in the subsequent year based on the student’s achievement specified below:
– regional competitions, i.e. within Hong Kong: 50%; or – International competitions: 100%

2. Admission scholarships for exchange students | At most two exchange students from other countries being admitted to LTPSS in each year. The exchange student demonstrates:
– active engagement in LTPSS school activities; and – enthusiasm for sharing cultures with students at LTPSS. |
Each exchange student is entitled to an amount of scholarship equivalent to 100% of the annual school fee for non-local students. |
