We wish them unlimited success in the future.
Self-reflection from S.5 Mok Hiu Chun (Tony)
I have received the scholarship from the Hong Kong Fujian Charitable Education Fund. I would like to thank the school and all the teachers who helped me apply for it. I would also like to thank my parents and my friends because they provided me with a lot of advice and support.
I am grateful because I can use the scholarship to buy more reference books to be well- prepared for the HKDSE. I will also attend some science programmes to gain experience in scientific topics and increase my interest in Science.
The Fund also encourages the scholarship winner to achieve higher social status and contribute more to Hong Kong. I plan to continue doing volunteer service at school and in Hong Kong, which can help make Hong Kong a better place.
In the long term, I will study harder and improve my economic status. Ultimately, I will work for some charity education programmes and help students from the grassroots achieve better lives.
Self-reflection from S.3M Kwok Man Him (Jeffrey)
The scholarship is of significant meaning to me not because of the amount of money, but because it affirms the effort I have devoted in previous years. I know there are still many challenges ahead of me, but this award motivates me to set a higher goal and gives me the courage to face difficulties in the future. My passion for acquiring knowledge will continue to build. I believe that if I persist, I can achieve my goal one day.
I am very grateful that I can receive this award. I believe that I deserve this award because I am a good student and a positive member of the school community. I always try to be proactive and helpful, I enjoy helping teachers and supporting my classmates.
I like all the subjects we study at school equally and I care about my progress in all of them. I try my best to be hard working all of the time, although I might not be very good at all of my subjects, but at least I try my best. I am a very curious learner; I will try to ask questions if I don’t understand. My aim is to improve my grades in Mathematics and Humanities. I like the Performing Arts lessons because I love drama. I can learn many performing arts skills in this lessons and I can improve my confidence on stage and in my life.
I am a member of the school choir and drama club. I like to help the new members at school and I was just elected as secretary of the school drama club. I look forward to helping new students settle down and enjoy school. I will always be happy to help them. I hope I can help the school choir and drama club to become more and more powerful and join different competitions with my members.
If I was to describe myself, I would say I am energetic, helpful, positive and charismatic. If something bad happens, I will face it in a positive way and think of a way to solve it. I always tell jokes and make my friends laugh. I think I am outgoing; I enjoy chatting with others and people are always friendly with me as well.
Finally, I would like to say that I am truly thankful that I can enjoy a good education and I will always strive to be a great student. Thank you.
