Summary of Shunde visit

一年一度的中、港羅定邦中學交流活動已圓滿結束！很高興我們的姊妹學校，順德羅定邦中學的老師與同學於11月30日至12月1日到訪本校進行交流，是次交流的主題是「我們的學習．我們的未來」。到訪的七位隨團老師，和約九十位中四同學，走入課堂，體驗本校具有特色的探究式學習模式，由兩地學生主導課堂，共建良好的學習場景。期間兩地師生樂於互相觀摩與交流，成功溝通兩地的學與教，積極求取進步，邁向菁英。

正如我校一貫的宗旨，學習從來不局限於課室，走出課堂外，才是全面的學習，才是生命的交流。內地同學隨本校學生大使到富有歷史與文化氣息的大埔社區進行考察，真實感受大埔社區的風土人情。在反思分享會中，兩地學生從兩地文化差異中，求同存異，取長補短，欣賞對方學習模式中值得欣賞之處，更能反思到自己的不足，實屬可貴。短短的兩天相處，卻為順德和香港羅定邦中學的師生建立起深厚的情誼，期待在來年四月，本校學生能到訪順德羅定邦中學進行交流。所謂「有朋自遠方來，不亦樂乎」，兩地師生，如師如友，一起主動學習，攜手奮發向前，正是自主學習的真締。

From 30th November to 1st December, our school had an academic exchange program with Shunde Luodingbang Middle School on the theme of “Our Learning, Our Future”. The visit provided a valuable platform for teachers to share how teaching is done in the two schools through lesson observations and lesson demonstrations. In the meanwhile, students from Shunde Luodingbang Middle School had taken an active role engaging themselves in classes shadowing, community research, Tai Po cultural experience with their buddies. At the end of the visit, students from both schools reflected on their own learning and had a meaningful sharing. Teachers and students from both schools learned to appreciate their strengths and embraced weaknesses. Strong rapport was established between the students from both schools in the two-day visit. We all look forward to the Shunde visit in coming April next year.
